Yesterday Once More
When I was young I'd listen to the radio.
Waiting for my favorite songs.
When they played I'd sing along.
It made me smile.
Those were such happy times And not so long ago.
How I wondered where they'd gone.
But they're back again. Just like a long lost friend.
All the songs I loved so well.

Every shing-a-ling-a-ling that they're starting to sings so fine.
When they get to the part.
Where he's breakin' her heart.
It can really make me cry.
Just like before.
It's yesterday once more.
Looking back on how it was In years gone by.
And the good times that I had.
Makes today seem rather sad.
So much has changed.
It was songs of love that I would sing to then.
And I'd memorize each word.

第一次愛上這首曲子
是在國二上英文課時，朱素賢老師（也是我在學生時代很喜歡的其中一個老師）放給大家聽的曲子
這首歌的歌詞很簡單，所以老師一邊放著音樂，也將歌詞發給大家。
很神奇的，這首歌詞雖然很簡單，但是卻深深地唱進了我的心裡
（當然如果歌詞太深奧我也有可能聽不懂而不會被感動到XD）
雖然歌詞整體的大意
就是聽著歌曲回憶著過去的點點滴滴
但是整首歌詞的鋪陳
就是從淺淺的，只是單純等待自己喜歡的歌曲
到漸漸的跟著唱時，勾起心中那段塵封的回憶
再慢慢的讓回憶靜止的水，起了陣陣的漣漪...
透過Every sha-la-la-la Every wo-wo-wo
唱出每個人心中可能代表的不同樂章
聽了這首歌之後，我就喜歡上Carpenters
他們的音樂很多都用這樣的方式
就是簡單的字句，簡單的旋律，卻可以進入到我很深很深的心裡
就像Mr. post man，輕快的音樂，簡單的敘事法，說出了對男友的思念
所以我本來想要配上中文翻譯的
但是翻出來之後的中文.........很爛（好啦！是我自己國文造詣不夠好）
不過很美麗的英文要翻成很美麗的中文是很難的
就像很美麗的中文要翻譯成英文也是一件不容易的事情
所以......去敗一張吧！
